There's something about friends-to-lovers romances that few of us can resist. Maybe it's because there's no need to take time to build the chemistry up slowly - from the get-go, the characters know each other well, and the chemistry is already there like a riptide beneath the surface, ready to pull them under. So many of my books are friends-to-lovers that it would take forever to list them all! So I've picked a choice few to focus on.

DOUBTLESS BAY

I thought I'd start with the complete Doubtless Bay series, because all these stories are friends-to-lovers - you can tell by the titles! Why not start with book 1, Friends Don't Date, and work you way through all of them one by one, or alternatively read them via the 6-in-1 Collection? They're set in the gorgeous small town of Mangonui in Doubtless Bay, although you'll get to travel all over the Northland of New Zealand as you watch the characters fall in love!

JULIETTE AND THE BILLIONAIRE BOSS (A BOSS IN A BILLION BOOK 9)

This is the last in the A Boss in a Billion series, and it's a real heart-wringer. It's partly a love triangle story, but not really, because it's clear that Juliette and Henry are meant to be together. The only issue is that she's pregnant with her ex's baby. If you love friends-to-lovers stories that are full of emotional angst, this is the one for you!
MY BEST FRIEND, THE BILLIONAIRE (THE BILLIONAIRE KINGS BOOK 1)

As the name suggests, this is the ultimate friends-to-lovers billionaire romance. Hal and Izzy are absolutely made for each other, and the fact that they're both vets at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary leads to lots of animal-related drama, especially with Hal, who Izzy calls The Dog Whisperer! They've been friends since high school, and I've been assured the chemistry leaps off the first page.
MR SINFUL (HEARTFELT BOOK 1)

Ohhh Rusty... This is one of my very first romances, and it's still many readers' favorite. It's super steamy, and an adorable friends-to-lovers romance that is guaranteed to capture your heart. Faith is doing research for a Seven Sexy Sins article, and her brother's best friend, Rusty, offers to help. Just make sure to read with the fan on!
MR INSATIABLE (SERENITY'S STANDALONES BOOK 5)

Unrelated to either the above book or the other Standalones, Mr. Insatiable is another super steamy friends-to-lovers romance. Kit Fawkes is a fireworks expert, and the best friend of Enya's brother. When Kit discovers that Enya struggles to relax in the bedroom, he is determined to prove she's not broken.
